If you can get past the beginning of 3 undermining Aliens well-deserved ending, the special edition of 3 is actually pretty damn good.

Regardless of how the series ended, Game of Thrones was about as politically complicated a fantasy story can get and the masses ate it up. His excuse doesn’t hold water.

To be fair, Last Crusade is unclear about the lasting effects of the grail. The two other brothers that found the grail and left died of “exceedingly old age” or something like that, but it’s not clear that they emerged from the temple old.

Out pops the corpse of Punky Brewster.

Hell, if they’re concerned about talking away the radiation, include a line about him being one of five people to have drank from the cup of Christ.

Good practical effects will sell the premise better than questionable CGI.

There’s an easily googleable article about it - there’s an actual shot of Indy clinging to the periscope.  They filmed some of it, apparently.

The difference being that the Indiana Jones series makes a point to show that religions are real. The nuclear fridge pulls science into the “anything goes” category, and that’s just weird.

Can we not go back far enough and claim Atari or Intellivision for these practices?  How about Nintendo?  I don’t see Mario anywhere else.

I agree with many of these entries, but I think the criteria for being the “best” in this case also means being approachable.  TLoU is a story that can be adapted to other media in a meaningful way without losing the impact of what it’s like to play the game.  Disco Elysium is amazing, but you could never make a

I think best story in this case also includes being approachable.  I absolutely love the Baldur’s Gate series and the stories are incredible...but they’re also very niche.

There are species named after problematic people, so that’s not the endorsement you think it is.

I’ll tell you why. His first popular films that he wrote and directed were released over a 13 year span. Terminator in 84, Aliens in 86, The Abyss in 89, T2 in 91, True Lies in 94, and Titanic in 97. That’s six excellent and extremely well regarded movies in 13 years. In another 12 years, he released Avatar, a

You’re not wrong, but it’s worth noting how few films he’s made since Titanic in 1997. By that I mean, just Avatar and Avatar 2.
