This entire thread is littered with why NFTs aren’t good.

What good is a trustless interaction without a central authority if what you invest in it can become worthless?

The whole point is it HAS no real value.  2.9 million bought, 48 million asked, 3600 offered.

Personally, not my cup of tea. I don’t do procedurally generated, with maybe a rare exception. My brother, on the other hand, loves the game.

People apparently like NMS a lot right now.  So, that said, “great” is in the eye of the beholder.

“Defunct console manufacturer and sometimes game publisher makes ironic statement.”

I’m guessing the same people complaining about people not playing the game “the right way” aren’t the same people speedrunning.

Hey!  Sega CD was great!  Willy Beamish?  Eternal Champions CD?  Sonic CD and that amazing intro?

But likely most people won’t play them, because they’re dated in almost every aspect.

I compromised and used an interactive map.  I know it’s not “game design” but it moved me from actively disliking the game to absolutely loving it.  I level without grinding, I get to see a lot of things I would’ve otherwise missed.  And with wikis I get to plan out a character with desired armor and weapons.

Let’s worry when it becomes a pattern.  Right now the victim tally is 1.

Work of art it may be, but it’s also a game, and I went from hater to player by making the experience *I* wanted. I used a start-up walkthrough to pick up the necessities you really need to survive, and used interactive maps as a point of guidance and as a way of making the missable unmissable. I learned to not bounce

Which is ironic, considering how much thought goes into chess.

*whispers* ...but they’re robots.

I strongly suspect that the Celestials will play a bigger role in the cosmic MCU down the line. But re: your comment regarding the end of the film, the fact that no other superheroes doesn’t strike me unusual. It took Phastos’ whirlygig and Makkari’s superspeed to locate ground zero. From the emergence to the end of

Admittedly, I fall into the “love/like almost everything the MCU put out” so perhaps I’m not the best person to comment, but I’ve found that even the movies that aren’t “great” still have something to offer. Iron Man 3 was a tough watch, but I appreciate the message, that Tony Stark is more than his armor. I actually

You had me at the beginning and then lost me at No Way Home.

I’m not arguing the Church of Anticipation. I’m referring to the other two zones, which OBVIOUSLY you’ll end up at either point during the game.

I also mentioned in a previous comment that when you change your orientation e.g. go to the beach, those implied lines are gone. So if the thrust of the argument is that you

Except the “implied lines” in this case only refer to THAT frame. And many of the implied lines drawn are massive stretches. The lower left arrow doesnt even cut across treetops, it cuts through a swath of forest with no clear line. Or the line in the upper left that doesn’t actually point to the destination, but to

That must be it.
