Everyone has a different threshold. But next-gen multiplat games simply look fantastic over last console gen, so it’s not like there’s no value.
This is what happens with new physical releases. If not for Covid, we would have suffered this for a month (?) and then store shelves would be stocked. Instead, we pushed the online model where bots grab an untold number of these consoles, and nearly a year later, we have a true physical release.

Well, a $400 figure on a shelf isn’t likely to go anywhere fast. Kickstarter is a commitment, so they justify the work being done.
