You could also stream your PC to your TV using Screen Mirroring or Chromecast.

Not a perfect solution for everyone, but I also don’t know anyone’s individual layout.  In general, though, the act of playing a PC on a modern TV is a an HDMI cable away.

Negative.  I only used it in my living room.

Oh, and I don’t think I heard the fan.  I played stuff pretty loudly and the PC was further away.  It had a beefy fan for the GPU I bought, though.

At the end of the day, all I can say is I spent 5 years playing games on a recliner through a 55" HDTV, LCD I think.  Starcraft II Coop FTW.

It’s a hassle?  Connect the HDMI out on your graphics card to your HDMI in on the TV.  Done.  I’ve done this myself.  It’s easy as sin.

I played ME1 six times, once for each character.  ME2, with the exception of the Sovereign reveal, is so much better story and character wise, at least.  I preferred the combat style in ME2/ME3 much better.
