Actually I do appreciate the design, and in the case of old pocket watches, the often cleverness. (Along with typewriters I had a fairly sizable collection at one point, mostly USSR rail pieces but that was just a weird preference. I’d say it takes far more skill properly repairing them today than simply assembling)…
