You and me both.. I don't think we will be getting our hands on this anytime soon. But it does look good, although the looks probably won't age well. I only say that because of the crazy designs that are coming lately.

This looks more like an evolution of a 12C than anything else. I'm not sure why McLaren didn't evolve the 12c into this, or style it differently to give it more character. I know the performance will speak for itself, but I would never buy this myself based solely on the fact that it looks like a lazy design.

This is great, really. But I think one of the things that make the GTR so potent is the entire package. DCT, AWD system, engine. Packing the engine from the GTR without the other two isn't going to give them an automatic win. However, putting everything together would certainly win them a lot in terms of cred.

I hope they base it off something better, like a California (yea I know, don't judge me). I just don't think a Viper-based Masi would look good. Or at least, look like anything Maserati would buy.

Given that the Maseratis generally look amazing, and have a parts bin from Ferrari, makes me think that this concept and hopefully new car will be one to watch. I've always wanted to see Maserati do better, ever since I lived in Italy. I love the way they sound.
