The most obvious thing to do is look at World Record times/scores for a bunch of track and field events. Obviously that sort of ignores more skill based sports, but even so things like soccer, tennis, badminton being being stronger faster can make up for a skill deficit...

I know several women involved in getting more girls into science and mathematics who actively do not identify as feminists because if you blast into a meeting using all the feminist rhetoric you will put all the old men in the room on the defensive and it makes it a lot harder to accomplish your goals.
