In fact, I seem to recall Cuban saying basically that. I can’t find a link now, but I know I saw an interview where Cuban acknowledged that he had had a friendly relationship with Trump previously but he was appalled by some of things he said while campaigning.

Perhaps it’s possible that Trump might have said a thing or two during that time period that would cause people to reconsider having a positive thought about Trump.

But to be fair to Cuban, Trump did enough stupid, assholery things in those nine months to convert a nun to atheism. So there’s that.

So he came around WELL before the election and became one of Trump’s most outspoken critics. What’s your point?

I think you have to look at it in context and juxtapose the usage. Would Phil say that Mike Pence is in Donald Trump’s posse? I would say no, and therefore in the context, it’s mildly/moderately race related.

As a white guy, I legitimately didn’t know posse was considered a loaded term. Is this word something that is offensive to minorities? I’m genuinely curious because I had no idea.
