cool... just bought three! Hard to find Mac-compatible ones. I've had PC ones and they are a great time saver. Just be sure to specify MAC when ordering.

The rumors had been about Retina on a 15" model. This is a refreshed 13" model, and I'm sure the focus was on affordability for this entry level model (within the Pro line) and keeping Retina on 15" (and above?) makes sense as Apple tries to differentiate the higher end, and generate revenue.

My Mac mini 256GB SSD failed. 9 months old, so Apple swapped it out, but it would've cost $700+ to replace. Fortunately, it was free (took a couple of days to get the part) and I have a nightly SuperDrive dupe to an Iomega 500GB firewire drive. But don't think SSDs are invulnerable.

I don't disagree. I think Facebook is/was/will always be overrated and Morgan Stanley maximized the cash to Facebook the other day and everyone else loses out.
