Ride share bikes are regular bikes with some colored plastic cladding and stickers to identify the company. There’s nothing unique or novel about these bicycles. The company just purchased whatever some factory in China is churning out.

Inflation is a factor, but cars have also gotten considerably more expensive. Of course, one factor is all the tech that’s crammed into a modern car. Safety tech is understandable, but most of it is just toys that appeal to consumers.

What German car with 100k on the odometer doesn’t need work?

It’s like Hollywood doesn’t know how to cast anything other than soap opera cast offs. Maybe it’s irrational, but I find it really hard to get into a movie that features pretty boy/girls in roles that are supposed to be tough, cynical or world-weary. The portrayals feel like bad cosplay.

Nissan replaced the Juke with the stupidly-named and aesthetically-uninspired Kicks. It rides on an updated version of the same platform, but is manufactured in Mexico instead of Japan. It’s basically a lifted Versa.

That livery is uninspired and pretty damn ugly. I also don’t understand why they wouldn’t have used the LC instead.

People aren’t doing 120mph on the highway, least of all in the slow lane, and most people aren’t doing full throttle launches at every light. Your typical driver is hitting 60mph in maybe 25 seconds, so even if the CR-Z has to work a slight bit harder it’s far, far from being dangerous.

There may be a paint job that makes this car look good, but this isn’t it.

The only reason I use the touch bar is for actions previously assigned to the function keys. In the first week I tinkered with customizing the bar on desktop and in certain apps, but I’ve since basically forgotten it’s there.

I watched the hell out of Battle Angel back when I had it on VHS. Unfortunately, nothing about this evokes the manga or anime to me.

Jeez... They went so dark and edgy I felt embarrassed watching the trailer. Not only does this movie look cheesy but it also seems miserable and unpleasant.

I don’t understand people who bitch about daylight savings time. I like having more usable daylight in the summer. Although, if it were abolished, I’d rather DST be made permanent. I wouldn’t want sunrise just after 4am.

Sounds like you haven’t watched the original trilogy in a long time. Compared to everything that’s come since Luke is almost embarrassingly under-powered, even if it wasn’t evident at the time. His piloting abilities are a stretch, but at least they’re explained a few times. The duration of his Jedi training is

I have ASMR, but this thing of people whispering is the lamest thing in the world. It doesn’t trigger anything in me but embarrassment for everyone involved.

I can see why they shot this concept in the dark. The car doesn’t look particularly good in daylight.

I personally think the Stinger looks too much like a Jaguar sedan with a few extraneous bits tacked on. That weird strip that extends from the taillights is really distracting and doesn’t match any other styling element on the car.

Microsoft didn’t push the OS hard enough although, to be fair, they had a huge uphill battle. There was too much negativity all around, but particularly in the tech press. Only now that Windows Phone is basically dead is there acknowledgement that there were actually some great things about it.

That’s bullshit. The Iranian player was clearly trying to fall into Ronaldo both impede him and draw a foul. Ronaldo was clearly trying to get around him and at worse was trying to shove him out of the way. In any other game that would have been a no-call, but at worst a relatively inconsequential foul. It certainly

I’d argue that the very nature of drifting is a major restriction.

I disagree. Messi has let down his team as much as they’ve let him down. I think he’s one of the best ever, but needs a team built specifically around him and that’s a problem. When things get tough he’s not a motivating presence. If anything, I’d even argue he’s a detriment to team morale.
