Regarding Portugal, that doesn’t seem to be the consensus from what I’ve read. People are always negative about Portugal’s quality and, to be honest, while they’ve managed okay so far they haven’t looked terribly convincing.

Yeah, I agree. Do it for a special goal because this is just obnoxious. I’d rather listen to bad American commentary than have to suffer that guy put his mark on every single damn goal.

I would love to see Fakespot’s scope expanded. For the uninformed Fakespot is a site that will scan reviews on Amazon or Yelp and identifies fake user reviews.

Whenever this topic comes up I’m reminded that American companies have a penchant for using annoying sounds for alerts. The commuter rail in my area uses hyperactive chirps for closing doors. Crosswalks equipped for the vision-impaired use the most obnoxious buzzers in the world. This is in stark contrast to Asia

This seems like a never-ending problem for GM and American automakers in general. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing because it’s lost in corporate bureaucracy.

Square headlights triggers so much nostalgia for me and I think it suits the design better than the round ones. I look forward to the day when 90 degree angles come back into style.

I figured it was part of the exhaust, but it’s good to finally know for sure.

The problem with the the new movies is crap writing, plain and simple. It’s unfortunate that people are co-mingling apparent agendas and the shortcomings because it just causes distracts from legitimate criticisms.

The shapes and contours of the car are rarely taken into account. It’s not that the US doesn’t have great designers and illustrators, but for whatever

Studies have shown that standing desks offer no real benefit over sitting. If you’re concerned about being sedentary you need to go for a walk every once in a while.

In a split second his mood went from shock, denial to dejected resignation.

The prequels got into a lot of the world building you’re describing. When those movies were released there was a ton of background describing the creativity that went into everything from alien species to vehicle designs.

While I love explorations into AI and self-awareness in Star Wars it’s pure nonsense. Why have pilots is a spaceship has consciousness? Why would anyone bother building a machine so unnecessarily complex for the task that it would become self-aware and question its purpose? All the designers have accomplished is to

Solo featured better writing than The Force Awakens or Last Jedi but those movies were much more entertaining. Outside of a few interesting moments and characters (Lando and Enfys Nest) the whole thing felt tedious. There’s nothing inherently there bad, it’s just that the whole thing felt like generic sci-fi. The

It must be a regional thing, because sometimes it feels like Nissans outnumber every other automaker by a good margin. And they’re relatively new models too, although I am seeing significantly more new Rogues than almost anything else from Nissan’s lineup.

I never thought that I’d be sick of hearing about yet another Star Wars movie.

Lego is always the answer.

I think you need to travel more if you believe the desire to own property is a uniquely American thing.

That’s true, if you live in big cities, but then you could argue the same about large American cities.
