I had a 2013 Elantra for a few days. It felt like Hyundai was trying a bit too hard to keep the interior from feeling cheap. The driving experience was unpleasant; the engine was harsh and the steering was dull. It also had a distinct tendency to wander on the highway.

I’m sure owners are going to appreciate the over-designed spray mechanism when they’re forking over a small fortune for replacements.

I really like the i3 and have toyed with the idea of getting one some day. This being BMW, however, my big question is what reliability is like. Given that electronics are typically the weakest point in German cars an all-electric car doesn’t instill a lot of confidence.

I remember looking up info back when I had mine and it didn’t do particularly well. I recall it getting 3 out of 5 stars. I can’t imagine how poorly it would do against some of the cars on the road today.

This list looks like it’s meant for investors hoping to gamble on a big payout. It was created by people who don’t really understand cars, let alone automation and threw up every random startup that could be tangentially related to transportation.

It’s an odd thing, but I think generally the rule applies to City or Creator sets. I’ve also heard that the restriction applies specifically to depictions of the military. Beyond that, most other themes I can recall have had weapons of some variety or other.

I want to like the styling because it is suitably exotic, but it isn’t working for me. Something about the car just doesn’t feel right. And those big headlight cavities aren’t helping.

The doors on every single 720 in those photos appears to have alignment issues. The back of the door sits too high relative to the body. I wonder if the doors aren’t sealing properly, contributing to the excessive noise in the cabin.

Every car guy believes he’s Ayrton Senna.

I’m pretty sure the Audi TT is next. I’ve seen a multitude of new Audi’s on the road, especially the SUVs, but I’ve only seen a single new TT. It’s a depressing thought.

I’m more impressed by the quality of that parking lot’s pavement and the care that’s gone into painting those lines. Why can’t we see that in America?

Of all the countries I’ve been to Americans are the only ones who obsess about the appearance of teeth. Meanwhile, they’ll do things like tromp around the house and even lay on a bed wearing filthy shoes that have stepped in all kinds of shit.

The CVT has nothing to do with the decline of Nissan. Their alliance with Renault is the problem, although they were already facing financial problems prior to that.

My office parking garage is adjacent to an aquarium so I see a lot of parents driving in with their bloated SUVs. Two things strike me; 1) why they believe they need such as big vehicle when they’ve only got 1 or 2 kids; 2) the difficulty in negotiating the garage or pulling into a parking spot. You certainly don’t

And those things don’t even do that very well. I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen cars wearing those automotive diapers and stuff have scratches all over their bumpers.

I’ve finally seen the new Acura grille in person and it looks like shit. Somehow Acura has managed to produce something that’s uglier and more generic than the old beak.

Off topic, I know, but what an awkwardly written headline. Wasn’t there another way to construct that sentence without sticking “has” on the end?

I long for the day massively oversized wheels have gone out of style. Those wheels look incredibly stupid; they’re the automotive equivalent of clown shoes.

That’s a lovely color scheme on the Chiron. On the other hand, it looks like the car is molting.

Holy information overload Batman!
