Not bad, but last week we got the same Roomba from Target for under $250. Now they’re pricing it the same as Amazon.

Cars 2 started off pretty dark as well, what with the death of multiple cars and one even crushed into a cube.
LibreOffice is great. GIMP, on the other hand, is a pile of garbage. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very robust and matches Photoshop’s functionality in nearly every way. It’s just that the UI is so poorly designed. It’s incredibly clunky to use; even basic things like resizing an image are more effort than they should be.
Based what friends in IT tell me, MacBooks fail as often as Dell laptops or anything else on the market. My previous MacBook Pro had its video card crap the bed in less than a year and a half. That’s inexcusable even for a cheap PC.
When I lived in Taiwan I noticed that almost every single taxi driver would put their cars into park at every light. Then, when the light turned green, in their hurry to get going they’d start revving the engine just before they put it in drive.
Good for you. That’s not the case with a lot of companies. I work with fairly large files. Why would I restrict myself to WiFi when Ethernet is faster and more stable?
Not only did Apple ditch the function keys, but they got rid of the escape key of all things. I use Photoshop on a daily basis and I use many of those keys constantly. Especially the escape key because it’s the quickest way to back out of a text box.
To me it looks like a much nicer P1. It’s got the same striking form but replaces the weird headlights and the awkward door cavities.
The guy in the Audi uses his gas pedal like an on/off switch. The pushing hasn’t even started and he’s already lost.
Sure, the truck is puffy and weird, but I’m still not seeing a pig in it.
The mistake Mercedes has made is making this look like a blobby Ridgeline instead of a Unimog. Upper-middle class men have taken to pretending they’re outdoorsmen, so the timing is right, but they want a vehicle that reinforces that image.

I was going to say that this is one of the first times I’ve seen them take apart something methodically, then he went and smashed the thing with a sledgehammer.
Considering that in many European countries you’re taxed on displacement, I don’t foresee engines getting bigger. Automakers might offer them, but no one is going to buy them.
It might look that way, but you’re completely wrong. Nearly piece I can see on that submarine has been around for at least 20 years. Most of the pieces that have shown up in recent years are small cosmetic bits.
You might want to brush up on your history. Many estimates for deaths at the hands of the Japanese empire exceed 10 million. The empire was brutal on so many levels. Although, to be fair, unlike Germany Japan didn’t have a policies specifically targeting civilians. Nevertheless, read up on the Nanjing massacre or…
All of them... I agree with your point in principle, and am inclined not to give a crap what others think myself. Nevertheless, you’ll find that people in every single industry are judgmental in one way or another.
The exterior is already a nightmare, but the interior takes the what-the-fuckery to a whole other level.
I imagine the car is already set up optimally for the driver. They make these tweaks knowing they’re going to shave off a fraction of a second. Any more than they’d probably send the car spinning into a wall.
Funding things like the space program is crucial because it offers profound benefits to society in the long run. However, all those other things you list are not mutually exclusive with a space program. The fact that the government lacks funds stems from inefficiencies and a ton of other problems.
