Outside of lost payloads and some setbacks individual failures like these are little cause for concern. Questions get raised when there have been a string of failures. Even then, it’s not necessarily enough to sink a company because the tech is still being refined and a lot of factors are in play.

As much as I’ve always enjoyed Best Motoring the results are sometimes questionable. The outcomes don’t seem consistent with what we know about these cars and often it feels like bias is a factor.

I hope the producers of ST: Discovery have learned from the mistakes of Enterprise. That series started off trying to be hip and sexy and was a bit of a mess. Which is unfortunate, because the final season was actually fantastic.
