I’d love to know what this cost to build, because every time I read about public works projects in Europe they prove to be considerably less expensive than the equivalent in the United States.

The thing that bothers me most about this is her name. Sana Solo?

That’s exactly where my MacBook’s power cord failed, where the cable meets that thicker bit that supposedly protects against such wear. It was less than a year and a half old and wasn’t subject to any unusual abuse. But I saw it coming because the rubber shielded tended to bunch up in that spot. It’s something I

A couple of years ago it came out in Connecticut that state police were using quotas, which apparently is illegal. Troops were in competition with each other and in one email that was uncovered a police Lieutenant was asking for asking for 60 tickets per shift.

I’d be curious to see under what price range those performance cars fall. If I had to guess, it wouldn’t be at the bottom end of the spectrum. The people buying these cars likely are higher income earners with some money to burn. It’s not your average consumer, going paycheck to paycheck, who’s snapping up sports cars.

It’s insane what people consider an “insane” amount of body roll. Ignoring stance crowd and drifters, some body roll is actually good thing. Who wants a car that gets upset by every little bump in the road because there’s no compliance in the suspension?

Too bad that G37 looks the way it does. Even if it were the best-looking Infiniti, which it isn’t, that isn’t saying much. The crown for best-looking Infiniti, by a huge margin, goes to the 2nd gen M45. Even the new Q60 looks marginally better with its muscular haunches.

I don’t doubt it’s fun, but calling this the best car event in the country is quite the stretch. How many times can you watch the same handful of cars drift around a track? I get the whole grass roots appeal, but if you’ve seen one drift in a battered old Nissan you’ve seen them all.

Oddly enough, this brings back memories. In elementary school I used magnets to build a levitating train for a science fair project. Of course, it was nowhere near this level of sophistication, consisting of a row of magnets and two sheets of plexiglass stuck into plywood.

I love Germany. This attention to detail and rules is exactly why their roads are so nice.

Windows Phone has had similar functionality for some time now, although Google was indeed first to market. It’s nice to see Apple playing catch up once again. Unfortunately, Microsoft’s biggest weakness, and Apple’s biggest strength is marketing. Expect to see a lot of fanfare when this functionality hits.

I’ve read a number of guides describing that the most effective way to teach kids to ride is to remove pedals. Apparently using this technique come kids are able to ride a bike within an hour.

Banning weapons treats the symptom, not the ailment. Something profound needs to happen for humans to suddenly turn non-violent.

Judging by the junk I typically see self-professed makers cobble together, “hack” is going to be an apt description.

I didn’t say I hated all these sports. Just pointing out that this happens all year long with other sports, even when it’s just inconsequential game #57 of 162.

These comparisons are always impressive but they’re also an oversimplification. They look at raw power but don’t consider all the other factors that affect performance; CPU architecture, GPUs, RAM and more. I guarantee you that an iPhone 4 would choke trying to handle the computations they sent through that Cray-2

For once Americans get to endure the annoyance I experience of wall-to-wall coverage of baseball, football, basketball and their shitty college variants. Plus day after day after day of reality show reruns.

Customization I can go far, even if it’s the goofy simplistic fare we typically get from EA. But what’s “authentic car culture”? There’s no monolithic car culture and I don’t play racing games for the culture anyway. And do they mean nocturnal, as in we’ll never get to race during the day?

I like the exterior so much more than Toyota trucks offered in the States. With the exception of the discontinued FJ Cruiser. It looks like it’s built for functionality, as opposed to striving to be machismo on wheels. But that interior looks like it belongs in a totally different vehicle; it’s a major styling

The only time I ever see a Raptor is when it’s tooling around a wealthy town on the way to some fancy bistro. They’re the vehicle of choice for the guy who wants something more outdoorsy than a Porsche 911 but more exclusivity than a tarted up Wrangler. And it’s got just enough flair that they won’t be confused for
