I’ve looked into WeatherTech and found them to be expensive. They seem to price their mats comparably with typical dealer overpricing.

Only an American could think baseball and football aren’t boring. Baseball is only second to cricket in terms of mind-numbing boredom. And football, while not as bad, is mostly commercials interrupted by a sporting event. The worst part, however, is the mindless blather from commentators trying to compensate for what

It looks like the Apple Watch has the same exact issues as every other smartwatch, and high end fitness band, on the market. It has all the problems that for some reason people expected Apple would solve. It’s got nice build quality, but from what I’m reading here it seems like there’s a lot other devices on the

Chances are that life is extremely common. I’d venture that even advanced life is common. The problem is that at the distances we’re talking about the chances of finding that life from Earth are practically nil.

People who think gender roles are learned have clearly never had kids. The preferences are obvious when you give a child a pile of toys and they start making particular choices.

I don’t get it. Is this supposed to be sarcasm or does the creator actually believe this shit?

Americans are immensely wasteful with their ever expanding homes. American couples will buy a bigger house because, god forbid, their spoiled little shits share a bedroom. The average American home is a shocking 2,600 sq-ft. The average home was 983 sq-ft in 1950. How did those poor people ever manage to survive?

It’s obnoxious as hell. It’s the software equivalent of a non-functioning button on your dashboard because you didn’t splurge on some feature. Except that in software there’s no need whatsoever for such a thing; except if you want to shove advertising in someone’s face.

Is this the same crowd that thinks the World Trade center was brought down with thermite?

In more populated, urbanized areas power outages are exceedingly rare. Ironically, power outages tend to occur a lot more frequently in higher income suburbs because they’re located in heavily wooded areas. And when it does happen it tends to be localized.

Apparently Microsoft has stated that there will be new devices to launch with Windows 10. More importantly, existing Windows Phones supposedly can be upgraded to Windows 10. The challenge there will be getting carriers to get off their asses and push updates, or cut them out of the process altogether like Apple does.

This is very interesting and perhaps at some point in the future it will make for a compelling historical document. Unfortunately, in the meantime, it’s totally worthless. These photos can’t really be validated, it’s too anecdotal and you’re just going to see a bunch of people engaging in confirmation bias.

It looks like they actually do slow for turns but the cars are so fast that they must rely on muscle memory and rhythm.

Looks to me like 162 games per season is far too many and there are probably too many pro teams as well. Cut down on the number of games so that each game played matters more and then it’s not as big a deal of a game runs over 4 hours.

The Band was formerly unimpressive? The Band was impressive from day one, especially when you consider the price point. It came with a bevy of sensors and offered some smartwatch functionality. It’s got a better display than nearly any other fitness watch out there and is cheaper than many competitors.

Isn’t this what we want? Better people lose it in the controlled environment of a race track than on public roads.

The most important thing you can go before going out and buying a mouse like this is identifying what kind of mouse grip you use. I don’t understand why companies continue marketing these kinds of mice as universal desktop mice.

I’ve had this same mouse for years. It’s hands down the most comfortable mouse I’ve used and mitigated aches in my right hand. It took about 4-5 years for the switch to fail in the first mouse and the second failed within a year. I love the mouse, but I don’t want to get into a yearly replacement cycle.

Wasn’t the concentration of oxygen a lot higher in prehistoric times? It seems that could have been a critical factor as to why dinosaurs were able to get so large and why they wouldn’t be able to survive today.

The weird thing about Taiwan is that even American fast food is a million times better than in the States, and the restaurants are amazingly clean. And my wife reminds me of this fact on the rare occasion we get fast food nowadays.
