“Woke” is what alt-right dipshits say when a media franchise only gives 95% of the character roles to straight white men, rather than the traditional 100% they are used to.

There really isn’t such a thing as “the internet” anymore. I mean as a single cultural space. Everything is so microtargeted and algorithm-driven that what you think “everyone” is talking about is determined entirely by what sites you frequent the most, what’s in your search history, who you follow on social media,

Yeah, there's nothing lazier than a game with a stealth section that immediately goes to fail state when you're detected. Being detected should simply change the enemy response (and force you to adjust your tactics) like in MGSV

Rockstar is basically the only major studio that actually releases games in a finished state on launch day. And they only make like two games per decade.

I personally hate loot grind games, and I really hate it when a story & gameplay driven game series gets loot grinding shoehorned into it. They ruined Assassins Creed with that shit and now they’ve ruined the Arkham series too. I have a bad feeling that GTA 6 is going to have loot grind nonsense in it as well.

The riddler trophies in the Arkham games are completely optional. You can beat all of the games without ever collecting one if you don't want to.

Two spaces after a period is wrong. It was a mechanical necessity in the typewriter era but it looks like shit and is no longer necessary with computers.

You can always lift the headset up to take a drink. It's not permanently attached to your face.

It’s a very strange pivot for the company given their main product’s key demographic. Facebook today is mostly used by conservative old folks, who are the people LEAST inclined to strap a VR headset on and spend hours a day in a 3D cartoon sandbox world. No one, including Zuckerberg, seems to have any idea who Horizon

Idiots who don’t understand what words mean think that “Millenial” is just a synonym for “young people”. It isn’t. Millenials are people born between 1981 and 1996, aka currently between 26 and 41 years old. The average Millenial today is in their early to mid 30s. Half of the generation is married and about 45% have

Facebook entered the Fox News demo zone a long time ago. Since around 2015 its userbase (in the US at least) primarily consists of angry white retired boomers who spend all day sharing right wing news, conspiracy theories, and memes with each other.

I didn't understand what the purpose of Cyberpunk's detailed character creator was. The entire game is played in 1st person and there are no reflective surfaces in the game world.

We are working on a product that has not found product market fit.”

VR is for games and porn. Metaverse is neither.

The dickhole papercut will heal in a few days.

All of these same arguments were made in the late 2000s by physical media advocates who were skeptical about the mainstream viability of streaming music and video services. “The bandwidth can’t support this”, “there will be constant buffering” ”what if your internet goes out”, “how are you supposed to access this on

I’m sure some people said the same thing a decade ago when Netflix moved away from physical DVDs and became a streaming-first company. How’d that turn out?

Streaming has already replaced physical media as people’s preferred way to consume music, movies, and TV. I have no idea why you think games will be exempt from this trend. The technology already works pretty well and at least half of people in the US already have access to fast enough internet to support it. As

Never really understood the appeal. Yeah she’s hot but there’s hotter titty-streamers out there.

The clap emoji thing ended like 3 years ago. Let it go.
