Destiny still pulls in almost $200m in revenue per year. 

I actually found Destiny 2's monetization / game economy to be fairly balanced and reasonable compared to most other live service games. You can enjoy most of the game's content without spending real money or grinding for like 30 hours a week. 

At least a hundred million per year, easily. Destiny 2 is a live service game that makes money the same Fortnite or Apex Legends does: selling content expansions, season passes, in-game items & cosmetics, etc. to existing players. Bungie doesn’t have any plans to make a new Destiny sequel for at least another five…
