Which is a testament to how whiny and entitled many gamers are. There are more than 100 different fighters in Smash Ultimate, but people lose their shit because some obscure character they like is not among them.

I'm not even a fan of the game Minecraft, but I like this inclusion because it's a different type of fighter than the typical swordsman/brawler/shooter template. I'm all for new gameplay types in this game. It would have been easy for them to just add yet another Fire Emblem guy.

This. Everything is memes now. Even our politics has become meme-based.

It’s not about the depth of the character, it’s about the depth of the fighter. It would have been easy for them to pick yet another swordfighter/shooter/brawler type character that plays the same as dozens of other fighters already in the game. This is something different, which is good.

Harris is by far the most left-wing VP nominee in the history of the Democratic Party. No one prior comes even remotely close. She was also the most liberal Senator in the Senate last year according to GovTrak. The idea that she is somehow insufficiently-progressive is ........ completely fucking insane.

It’s also incredibly dumb purity politics. Harris was ranked as the single most liberal Senator in the Senate last year (based on voting record) according to GovTrak.

It’s also none of her goddamn business who he’s married to. Some idiot blogger reducing a couple’s yearslong partnership down to “colorism” is fucking gross. She doesn’t know these people and knows nothing about their relationship. She just sees a black man with a slightly-lighter-skinned black woman and thinks: “he’s

No, you're showing your youth. Women writing songs about ex-boyfriend isn't something that was invented in the 1970s. It goes back to at least the jazz age.

Especially when that man has a criminal record (two DUI convictions), and the child has two actual relatives (father and older sister) who also live in Florida.

Weird. This reminds me of another famous person who started dating a woman who was the legal guardian of a young child, became very close to said child, starting calling himself the child’s ”daddy”, and then dumped the woman but continued a cohabitating relationship with the child as a vague, unofficial “guardian” as

Twitter makes millions upon millions of dollars in ad traffic from Trump’s account and those of his followers. Why would they ban one of their biggest revenue generators? Jack Dorsey doesn’t give a shit about ethics, truth, or decency. He cares about $$$. Period. He will only ban Trump's account if and when it is no

Switch =/= Switch Lite

Yeah Jim Cornette is quite possibly the most hated person in the wrestling business. He’s been relegated to hosting podcasts now because he’s been fired/blackballed from basically every promotion in the country for being an insufferable asshole who constantly says stupid & bigoted shit and picks fights with everyone.

These stories about Tara Reid’s past actually are relevant because they depict a person with a long history of lying to (and in at least one instance, extorting) innocent people for financial gain. I’m not saying I accept the accuracy of these stories, but if they are true it would damage her overall credibility, and

You’ve got a lot of anger, kid. A small group of people you’ve never met at a company you don’t work for deciding to break the monotony of quarantine by teleconferencing in a video game they enjoy is not a threat to you or your masculinity. We're all doing what we can to stay sane through this crisis. Relax.

Ben Sasse admitting COVID is a real and serious health crisis (after it has killed 90,000 Americans in three months) is enough to place him in the “pro-science” wing of the GOP.

Corporations are always merging in the name of efficiency, reducing redundancies, etc. We should do this for states too. Take a few pairs of bordering states that are basically the same (Nebraska & Kansas, North & South Dakota, Alabama & Mississippi) and merge them.

People in advertising don't dress this poorly.

I would hardly call Nebraska part of "the west".

It’s a Midwestern politician thing. They always rock that “I just changed a tire on my way over here” look at constituent events like graduation speeches, town halls, state fairs, etc. They think it makes them look more middle class and likeable.
