You make a valid point. Traditionally, cross-platform game syncing had never really been a thing.

You can freely move your Fortnite account back and forth between Xbox, PC, mobile, and Switch. All your progress, unlocks, and purchases move with you. No restrictions.
This is what aggravates me as well. I mean, the lack of cross-platform play on PlayStation is one thing. It’s kind of a dick move on Sony’s part considering the rest of the industry has embraced it, but whatever. If they want to operate their own little closed ecosystem, that’s their business.
It’s purely a Sony issue. Everyone else plays nice. Fortnite accounts can sync and move freely between PC, Xbox, mobile, and Switch with no issues. All of your progress and purchases move with you.

Xbox One Fortnite accounts sync with the Switch.
Same. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love Smash and am thrilled it’s coming to the Switch. But at the same time, this is literally a port of a 4-year-old game with a bit of DLC added. That’s not something you make the primary feature of your entire E3 presentation. E3 is for showing off new stuff. The Smash 4 port…
I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that Nintendo hasn’t made a new F-Zero game in 15 years and doesn’t appear to have any plans for one on the Switch either. If there was ever a console perfect for this game, it’s the Switch.
When was EA ever the industry’s best 3rd party developer?
I’m usually inclined to believe the accuser in these situations, but the way she went about this was really shady. And I’m not talking about the fact that she failed to file a police report or waited awhile (this is common, most victims are scared or just want it to go away).
A cousin of mine often describes himself as a “band manager”.
“an artist, screenwriter and music video director who still bartends”
This was probably written yesterday and it was published an hour ago. I’m sure they’ll update it.
It’s almost as if the “gaming media” consists of thousands of individual people with their own differing opinions on things, rather than a singular hivemind.
Yeah I don’t really understand this either. Almost all of these are games made by third party developers. I mean I know Microsoft has a hand in getting them to market (approving the finished product, addressing hardware related bugs, setting up multiplayer servers, etc) but I would hardly lay the credit or blame at…
This. In the first half of the game, exploring/beating one level in the map reveals a cleverly-hidden shortcut leading back to a previously visited one. The whole map winds back on itself in organic ways and reveals its own brilliant design as you explore it. It feels like an actual city with real,…
Yeah we get it dude, you’re a console fanboy. You know that Sony doesn’t pay you to white knight for them online, right?
A developer can justify gouging people on the price of skins when the actual game is completely free to play and skins are literally their only way to monetize it.
There’s like 5 PS-exclusive games in this generation that are actually worth a damn. For every Bloodborne there’s a bunch of The Order: 1886's. Same thing with Xbox. For every Halo there’s a bunch of Quantum Breaks.
These comments are pretty much exactly what you would expect to hear from a closeted gay actor in the twilight of his career who has been the recipient of 30 years of Scientology brainwashing.
