It's all makeup.
It's all makeup.
So, Microsoft is pulling a 180 with the 360.
You may never get those 10 minutes back, but you'll sure milk them for all they're worth. :-)
Looks like she's also researching extreme makeup.
I got it, but you'd still have to hack the APE to connect them which, in my opinion, is not worth the hassle.
And I've agreed that a single power conversion stage is more intellectually/aesthetically pleasing, regardless of how much the efficiency really matters. But in this case, it's probably too specialized to make it to market, and even if it did it would surely cost so much more than current off-the-shelf, mass-produced…
A good, modern inverter will also be a switcher (the AmazonBasics one I use is) and should be reasonably efficient. I'm really not concerned about the relatively-small loss of efficiency compared to the hassle of modding the APE, and will cheerfully pay for the little bit of extra petrol required to make up for the…
It's bizarre that the LM2825 is so pricey. Even at good ol' Mouser it's $26+.
I can give guys the only piece of premarital counseling they need: get a vasectomy first. Then you'll know what she really likes about you.
Rubbing alcohol easily, cheaply and safely removes Goo Gone residue. I keep the two bottles together on my supplies shelf.
In the old days, lots of people drank their wine out of pig bladders. I'd say that plastic bags is a step up.

Well, if you use AirPlay you can easily pass the iOS device around to passengers to let them play with the music without having to deal with a cable (especially in a larger vehicle like a minivan). I don't use a Bluetooth connection because the pairing is a hassle, but I think AirPlay in the car makes lots of sense.
Seems to me it's worth the small amount of wasted power to use a DC/AC converter to power the $99 Express so that it can still be used for other purposes when a better in-car solution comes along. If the Express only cost, say, $25, this hack would be more reasonable.
Yeah! Let's nationalize those debts!
The U.S. government leaves millions of dollars worth of Civil War loot buried (and heavily guarded) near Richmond, Virginia. Wouldn't it be inspirational to have a movie about a cleverly-designed heist? I'm surprised that no one has yet made one.
iCloud Keychain... It isn't worth the risk to put critical data "in the cloud". How many high-profile breaches of supposedly secure systems will it take for people to get the message?
So, we have Microsoft's admission that the Xbox One isn't going to fly.
