All hail the Vacuum Butt Cannon!

Strike Vector Ex has a single player (unlike the original) but reviews are not good.. my own experience is limited to playing at a friends.. its okay, the AI isn’t great and quickly you realize that the multiplayer is where it’s at... its good for practice if nothing else, but you’ll quickly outgrow it.

Visually i found it great.. it looks really nice and grimy as you zip around however for me it suffered in 2 ways.

It had moments.. but only moments in 22 minutes was not enough.

There was an adultness that was fun-ish (in the way a well crafted gag goes of the heads of the young but tickle the adults watching) but it totally lost me when Gonzo (the devil-may-care daredevil) was contemplating possibility of his suicide should his

My thoughts too..

I was drawn to the ME universe because the idea of the ME fields and how they are what made mankind leap forward technologically. The texts in the first 2 games were great to rad and were exceptionally well thought out.

Certainly this news has me interested again.. was a huge fan of the original Elite on my C64 as a kid but this new version looked great but lacked content and depth.

Prolly like me.. they were a pre-the expensive DLC player..

I did the grind for so long but became beyond tedious and all came to an end when the dumb factions system came in that just forced you to log so many trade runs per week and then I got hounded to death in the systems i used to make money when a single stray

Dear lord.. the horrors of 90's corporate rock.

That’s what i was thinking.. Adblocker on chrome gets rid of the white spaces too.. any blocker that leaves in gaps and ads isn’t doing its job.

A friend was getting frustrated by his webmail that added new banners and reduced his screenspace, stuck on adblocker.. mail was back fullscreen again.

I saw this last year.. its most unexpected.. turned through a doorway down a rather plain hall way and confronted by a huge, downed robot!

Far too clever... well played sir or madam.

I was there in October.. and it is wonderful, friendly and impressive.. it was also like London in Summer temperatures which was a surprise. I visited many of the places in the shots and am totally envious of how beautiful it looks in the snow and would love to be there for it now.

No Love for Commandos?

Replayed 1&2 recently.. absolutely superb strategic combat and stealth play. Yonks ahead of it’s time.

Aren’t these things even worse than the Echo for privacy invasion?

I saw it in October, made a special trip just to see it and it did not disappoint.. there’s also a mini Statue of Liberty just around the corner from it and some sort of golden needle.

Just not if you have an AMD processor... mine is only a couple of years old but its seems that mine and lots of older AMD processors make the game fall over on start up again with this update :S

The Novelist was one of the more interesting indie gaming experiences I’ve had this last year. It has a fun concept, a dry but interesting plot, that developed as I influenced a families life over the course of a summer.

If you’ve ever wanted to play a poltergeist.. this is a great way to do it.
