The Blackwell games are the most interesting PnC plot based games since the classic era. Truly works of great passion and dedication. They’ve earned my trust and deserve more success.
Now i want a Bob Ross boss battle.
Such a simple and effective plot (to start with anyways) pitting you against a demonic family.. the first chapter for Lisbeth has stuck with me over the years... the spooky house, grounds and shattering glass was so effective along with great boss set-pieces.
Wars isn’t a terrible game (from the hour I’ve played) but its just as shoddy, unoptimized and clunky as the original PC Godus remains to this day.
I bought a set of picks and some of those clear padlocks (super cheap from Banggood) as a funny Christmas gift for a friend.. once it arrived i loved it so much i got myself as set too.
The padlocks internals are fascinatingly spring filled and, as said, you realize how stupidly simple the key and pins system is.

Possibly the most pointless animated gif I’ve witnessed in a news story.
Absolutly love this game. It’s fun, clever and challenging but what most leave out is that it’s pretty short. The levels are tough and will require replay to get your % up to unlock the characters but one that’s done it loses some of it’s flavour (so much like Gunpoint) it could use the same amount of levels again or…
