Ain't Fuelin's all about the beaters! I scored #slambo for $2700 on Craigslist. It was listed for $3K ...

I paint sunsets on fenders. Not sure of the total number at this point. I'm guessing it's somewhere around 200 between the reviews I've posted in my channel and those I've done for Autobytel. I shoot on the same road at sunset every week, when possible (weather and schedule permitting). This road has the last light in

Michael was ready to build more of them, back in 2010 (when I shot this). The car was/is street-driven. Stuff that's built in the garage at a fraction of the "supercar" price that's first to the finish line? Sounds like a win to me. Build > Buy. =) Here's another Factory Five kit EV hot rod from SEMA 2009.

A higher gas tax would further America's economic woes by raising the prices of everything and would stir up a hornet's nest of discord. The answer to our dilemma is increased production of domestic transportation fuel from a wide variety of sources. Our economy thrives when fuel is cheap and unemployment is low. Yes

I've spent half a day in the Jetta Hybrid and have one headed this way for a full week of testing in the new year. It's quite pleasant to drive. And it's not just about the turbo ... the Jetta Hybrid has a DSG transmission, as opposed to the dreaded CVT. I've attached a video I produced from the first drive. (Note:

I always note the tires, Matt.

We're close to that here. I hope you have an expense account, Matt! I spent over $4K on fuel for press cars last year, out of my own pocket. :/ Premium is always an extra hit on my wallet, although I've always owned cars that need it. It's the low-MPG vehicles that are the most painful.

The NY Auto Show is as close as I've been to the car. The rear skidplate obscures the view underneath. Haven't been able to catch any of the GRC events this year, unfortunately. :(

What community? When you get down to it, GRC is a TV show in search of true fan support. The only question in my mind is whether it's a Chrysler/Fiat engine. If it is indeed, there's no question. :)

Dart shell + Dart engine = Dart. As far as the rest of the running gear, how much would be picked up from a production vehicle? (Even more so with one that isn't AWD to begin with ...)

Whether it is or it isn't, why would Ford sue? GRC needs Travis in the series, plain and simple.

The Juke definitely drives better than it looks. I didn't find one person that appreciated the styling in my week with the wee beast. It was a blast to hoon, tho ... different than anything in memory. This thing wants to be a rally car ...

Was the Accent a SE or GS? There's a difference in tires between the two, and I'm not sure if either tire is specified as Low Rolling Resistance. It would be good to know exactly which tires were mounted on both vehicles, as it's central to the story.

I'm not defending the FIA. Have you watched any of this seasons ERC races on YouTube? Rallycross.hu does an awesome job with their superfan videos. Their coverage blows ESPN away. You should also check out Rally America's grass roots US Rallycross series.

Jernberg was third in points last year in his Škoda, if I'm not mistaken. As a privateer. That's a badass little car. :)

Has GRC really found success? Jamming the races in as a support event is a tough call.

Most folks don't know that Rallycross started here in the States at NJ Motorsports Park in the fall of 2010. It's the hidden season that few folks saw ... other than the rabid fans at the racetrack. It's back at NJMP this season. Exactly as you suggested, dirt cut-throughs on a road course. There have been two events
