M’eh, I’ve given up on the Top Gear franchise

“See son, I told you if you bought a motorcycle you would go down!”

I could see my mom doing this. When I got a new helmet a few years ago, her response was “Oh great, now I have to worry again?” lol

Many years ago, I tried to see how far I could get. I told my then GF that if we had a baby girl, I’d love to name her Miata Danielle. She was down. I was flabbergasted.

One of the channels we have shows all 80's shows (A-Team, Miami Vice, Magnum PI, etc). My wife (born in ‘83, so she never saw the original airings) and I watched 2 episodes the other night. It’s amazing how cheezy it aged.

I just tell my wife I use it to wind down, although she says its a little wierd to her that I enjoy mowing down people in a car in GTA V.

Not my car, so it can’t ruin my day. But it’s always a V8 car. Are the V6/Ecoboost cars just not fast enough to run people down? All the looks of a Mustang, with no body count or a V8.

I think if this was me, I would never show up at another local car event because I’d always be the dude that showed up and ruined a Ferrari.

Weren’t these like $4000 brand new? I seem to remember ads touting $3995.

Sad, yes, but I’m glad it was being driven, and not just sitting in a garage somewhere, crying it’s heart out that it’s more furniture than car.

It is crazy that the car has been in the states since early May, and no info is available so far. Being able to see where the car you ordered in the process of building/shipping makes the long term buying experience much more fun, but this would be driving me crazy knowing that my car is in the states, but nowhere

I remember working at an auto parts store, and some of the idiots woul use the metal hooks that hung radiator hoses to arc across a brand new battery, that of course they ended up selling to some poor, unsuspecting person eventually.

I can’t believe you drive this thng when you need to be somewhere, knowing its a fickle and unreliable car.

I figured it was some kind of decoy in order to get us all to watch a 2 1/2 minute video of a Smart car :D

I simply don’t want to take anything out of my pocket, so that’s what I want out of future car keys/whatever will start the car.

I must tweet them, to let them know I am still available.

    Captain America? no.

And here I thought he took the phone from a chick with a mullet.

I have to say, this new version, it just doesn’t do anything for me. I used to wait for Top Gear to come on, watching it live, with commercials, which I hate. But this one, even recorded it seems I have to force myself to watch it.

I like the Amazon Basics Lighning Cable - they’re not that much ($6 for a 3', $8 for a 6') and seem to be made pretty well.
