I’ve done a bunch of 1000 mile STL-NY runs, straight through, with no issues. Ft. Lauderdale to STL as well - 1,200 miles. My plans are always eat when I fuel up, and only stop to use the bathroom if it feels like my bladder will explode - everything to minimize downtime.

I used to like these a lot when they were first new. It’d be a good stablemate for my FiST

i had 2 600s (‘04 GSX-R600, ‘09 ZX6R) and I think that’s as fast of a bike as I’d want to ride. Even with a semi-aggressive launch, there was no worry about the front end coming up under full throttle in 1st, which I liked.

My FiST has the MyFord Touch or whatever it’s called. It sucks. I can use it to change the temperature if I want, but that takes longer than using my hand to change it.

In late ‘09 I bought a ‘08 Focus that was from a rental fleet - 36k miles for $10k. Car ran great for the 25k miles I owned it - and I am probably as hard on my cars as a rental fleet. The only issue I had was a belt tnesioner pulley went bad.

Every year I try to watch, and after a few races I’m bored out of my mind by the lack of actual wheel to wheel racing and quit watching. This year I’m not wasting my time.

And the craziest part of that stereotype is that nearly everyone loves watermelon and chicken.

While it may have a big engine, I’m sure the rest of the driving experience is not what I like - poor brakes, crappy handling. And that’s before discussing the color, which is awful.
