I have that Amidala too!

Well, it's still insulting as all nations tend to get lumped together. Many people will use miniscule percentages of NDN heritage as an excuse to wear headdresses. Cherokee ancestry in particular is frequently cited. Johnny Depp is a high-profile example of this, using his supposed "Cherokee, or maybe Creek Indian"

Ah, I gotcha!

Cherokee people have never worn warbonnets, so no, it's not okay.

You've gotten some excellent responses, but I would like to add that there are hundreds of tribal nations, and only a fairly small number wear them. For example, I have Cherokee ancestry, but I wouldn't wear one because the Cherokee have never worn bonnets.

That is horrifying! I'm so glad she got out of there.

I would say that that is slightly more reasonable than assuming someone kills babies because they have a few slight differences.

Because they "worship" and pray to Mary and other saints instead of (really, in addition) to Jesus.

It would be oddly appropriate, as the St. George's cross has been used by racist groups like the BNP and EDL for years.

I was sure I'd heard the term when I was a youngun in the 90s, so I did some googling and came across this:

Poor Felicity Merriman just can't catch a break, can she?

Fair enough, I used that particular example just because someone mentioned Miles below (though it's worth mentioning Peter is returning this month in Amazing Spiderman #1, so I think the example still works). I could make the same argument about Superman or Batman. They're both in a ridiculous number of titles (last I

Ugh, the complaints about how Archie has to be happy and silly are just as bad as the complaints about Peter Parker being killed off and replaced by Miles Morales. If you don't like it then just ignore the Life With Archie (or Ultimate Marvel) line and stick with the main universe.

When The Avengers came out I spent months searching for a Black Widow figure. The Avengers and Star Wars figures (and Marvel Universe) are both by Hasbro. After awhile my sister and I started playing a little game called "let's see if there are any female figures by Hasbro". Marvel Universe was the best line, there

Ah, gotcha.
