Regarding building it in "limited quantities" Ford said the same thing about the Focus ST. They said they expected to sell around 5000 the first year. They wound up selling like 13,000.

No. Ford's press release says it's for Europe and Asia markets only.

Hybrid GT cars are not allowed. Could run as a garage 56 entry, but wouldn't be eligible to win.

Does anyone know of another live feed now that the broadcast has gone back to Fox Sports 1? I don't have FS1 and want to continue watching...

The One-Off 1952 Ferrari 212/225 Barchetta custom made for Henry Ford II.

The resemblance to Audi's car has nothing to do with them both being within the Audi group. There is only a finite number of ways to exploit the current set of rules, so you will see Audi, Porsche and Toyota all coming up with very similar looking cars. I would actually reckon that the Porsche and Audi don't share any

So? E-Types have never historically had them.

Whoops, I thought you were talking about the GT40, not the Hennessey thing...

Lola, not Lotus. And the only the MKI and II began life in that shadow. The MKIV is completely American.

The MKIV truly WAS all-American. The MK1s an MKIIs came from European influence, but the MKIV was designed, built, prepared, campaigned and driven by Americans.

It's a Riley, not a Crawford

That Audi is also a fully factory built CAR, not a manufacturer developed engine going in a customer chassis. And a running R18 probably costs 4-5 x more than a DP...

This 1/3 scale Ford 302 is tiny. The whole thing is about the size of a basketball!

This car won't be going to Le Mans. It's a GT3 car, not a GT2 car. Even if they made a GT2 version, the rules do not favor turbo motors, so it'd be heavily handicapped from the start.

According to KBB.com, a 1996 Bronco Eddie Bauer with 35,000 miles and all of the options this one has is worth $8,400... While this guy's response was awesome, he may be even more retarded, thinking someone is going to pay 3x what the vehicle is worth. How can he expect someone to actually pay that much? Hell there

6500 isn't extremely limited, but Ford made something like 170,000 Mustangs in total in 2008/2009, so less than 4% of production was a Bullitt (and less than 3% of total production was Dark Highland Green).

I think 2018 for the movie's 50th anniversary is probably the only chance we stand at seeing another Bullitt. That being said, being the owner of a 2008, I hope my car is among the last produced.

You don't have to tout the Boss as a future classic. Everyone already knows the Boss IS a future classic. The whole point of this is to point out vehicles that could one day ve ultra-sought-after that might fly under the radar to the masses.
