But yeah as long as you're PTFOing when you're playing recon..and by that I mean what you were saying by hanging out close to the m-com and doing work there (or in my case because I play Conquest more...hanging out by a flag or moving from flag to flag)...then you're doing a fine job on the Battlefield!

I was making a point about recons, which is that when they camp in an objective based game, rather than contributing they are hurting the team. If your team is dominating (no thanks to you ;) ) then camping is excusable, and I won't run you over with an ATV..but if we are losing tickets and have no flags captured…

Put another way, I've never seen a team composed of 50% leet campers win a match. If you are defending in rush, then you need to at some point disarm an mcom. If you are attacking you must arm. These are impossible when you isolate your way from objectives.

If you're playing Conquest or Rush with the recon class and not spending any time near the objective (flags or m-coms) then in my opinion you aren't contributing to the match. You can mark people whether you're 5m from the objective or 1000m from the objective. The difference is that the person who is 5m away is…

The problem (one of many) they will always have until they roll out a solution is the out of region players. I've seen a server go from good to crap from 5-10 out of region/shit internet players joining.

Passing on BF:Hardline here. Feel the same way that you do. This game was a waste of 100 dollars. I actually went out of my way to put hours into this game when I wasn't in the mood to do so "just to get my money's worth."
