Sorry to go off-topic here, but Jezebel has a broken link on the front page to a Gawker post. It's "Hundreds Killed as ISIS Captures Key Syrian Airbase Near Iraq Border." It seems that when I click the link from Jezebel page, it takes me to an error, but when I went to Gawker the link worked fine.

Just chiming in. Snakes being cold-blooded creatures would make them inherently hard to detect through a thermal imaging device, I would think. If its cold..they're cold..if its warm..they're warm. You'd likely need more than a cheap device.

My PS4 runs fairly hot when playing Battlefield 4 multiplayer or any resource intensive games. I feel like a game with this kind of fidelity would turn it into a bubbling pile of melting plastic & metal.

They've shipped SWAT and police in from surrounding areas...St. Louis county, for example. You may be correct in your description of active police/swat in that area PRIOR to this event taking place...but it has not been a podunk 50 person team of officers doing this..much more than that.
