They don't use mirrors to look at themselves. It's their way to spy on us!
Not much to find within five light years. I think the three stars of Alpha Centauri are the only ones less than 5 ly away. And I'm not sure a system with multiple stars would be all that inviting.
Godlike heroes are boring - they don't even have to be good (well, better than Hancock from the first half of the movie, but still...) at their job. All-powerful villains suck just as much as regular heroes pretty much can't realistically defeat them without the use of a deus ex machina. Then there's the baffling…
Overpowered villains far too often end in a deus ex machina or something like that. Booring.
Something to do with the Higgs boson.
When I first heard the question my immediate reaction was: A mirror flips left and right? Nope, what's left for me is still left for me in the mirror...

Nope.
So...who will go and take a look? Any volunteers?

After the bar fills up (it must remain visible on top of the GUI, of course) the copy must be retrieved, risking the hacker's detection. Critical information must never be sent via web in a background process in a way a…
Even better when the specs don't actually have anything to do with computers.
Also no functions or symbols that involve holding shift, control or alternate keys. Even though some may magically appear on screen.
