Funny you mention that. Back in May, they gave every street it’s own name and every building an actual address. So the Cadillac Bldg is no longer 30009 Van Dyke (while being half a mile from Van Dyke), it’s now 7015 Edward Cole Blvd.

Stop complaining. I pay $3600 every six months because I’m in Detroit. One not at fault, no injury accident on my almost twenty year driving record, and no moving violations within the last five years*.
Try working at the Tech Center in Warren with something like 20,000 GM vehicles on premises every day. Winter time when it gets dark around 5p, it looks like whole lots are backing up at once.
Cloud storage is great for some things, but most big corps won’t allow important stuff to be accessed on hardware that isn’t at the very least managed by IT.
I’d agree with this, except I keep having idiots walk out in front of me in traffic. You’d think they’d just be Darwin award winners, but in Michigan, pedestrians have the right of way everywhere except freeways and highways. So there has to be some legal encouragement for them to cross at a crosswalk and not in the…
Five bucks says he ordered a Diet Coke.
In a year or two, follow the money. See who’s buying up all the distressed properties around Flint for pennies on the dollar. Then see whose campaign they contributed to.
Correct me if I’m wrong but wouldn’t this open them up to a hell of a lawsuit on the grounds that they would be withholding medical treatment?
Canadian Snipers: The only ones who apologize for blowing your head off.
US Combined Arms Doctrine IMO helps negate the issue. Infantry equipped with Javelin missiles operating forward of the tank formations would engage in one-off attacks to keep the Russians bottled up and honest until they got within range of US tanks in defilade.
After checking TESS, they don’t appear to, but other entities have registered it for various purposes, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Because lawyers. It’s probably too close to Volt which is being used by Chevy/GM.
All I’ve got to say is that I’m black, and I heard fucking banjos.
If you want to complain about aerodynamics and fuel economy, come drive my ‘86 Suburban. Single digit fuel economy and stopping distance measured in miles, not feet.
‘15 Equinox, ‘86 Suburban, ‘91 Civic. I have one not at fault accident in the last ten years, no at fault accidents ever, and no traffic violations in the last five years. The reasons my rates are so high are Michigan’s unlimited PIP and the fact that I’m in Detroit.
Be glad you’re not in Detroit. I’m paying $3000 every six months with Progressive and they’re the cheapest for me.
Good points all around. Probably do better as an arsenal ship then. Evenly distributed weight (nothing but VLS cells) and plenty of range.
Just on a lark, but what do you think of the idea of using a modified tanker hull for the basis of a modern battleship? You’d get the size needed and a base template that would allow for modular design with potentially lower development costs because you’d be using some off the shelf tech.
Chobham w/depleted uranium lining is good against kinetic weapons, but would not be worth the increased weight up against an anti-ship missile equipped with a multi-stage warhead like a BROACH for example.
All we need is an Arch Duke to bite the big ‘un.
