RO2 is my main game for all of its features, including the amazing iron sights. But CS with iron sights is a no-no. I enjoy a wide variety of games, and I'm glad they didn't opt-in for iron sights with CS:GO. Also, Valve has never put iron sights in their games with the exception of the Kar98 in DoD:S.

Want to learn how to use the individual weapons? Hatton has a few guides detailing every little detail on a few weapons. Here's the AK-47.

The point of the video was to showcase the weapons, not skill.

I've seen a few comments like that on youtube. Worth a good laugh.

CS is meant to be extremely competitive with an extremely high skill ceiling. Aiming down sights makes the accuracy very close to 100%, and that would completely change the game. Much of the skill required to be good at CS is memorizing how the spray patterns work for each individual weapon to actually score kills

Gun Game was a really old player made mode. I'm not sure exactly which game it originated from, but CS's version was definitely the most popular. This is the first time it was actually an official mode in CS. Treyarch also put their own version of the mode in Black Ops.

TF2 was announced in 1998 and the first screenshots were using the GoldSrc engine. Read the blog I linked you, and you'll see.

I've seen a couple of surf maps already.

That's why they made it an official mode. It's awesome!

Actually, de_dust was made specifically for CS, but was based off of some old TF2 screenshots. You can read about how it was made here: http://www.johnsto.co.uk/?t=making_dust

You can tell someone is new to Counter-Strike when they don't take out their knife to run faster, and don't know how to crouch jump.

I probably shouldn't have thrown away my old DS just because the top screen broke.

Any idea on what engine that is?

Ha! SUPER PRETENDO. As a retro console gamer, I love this sort of stuff.

Hey look! It's GeorgLopez!

It's had its own Steam page for a while now. I'm certainly looking forward to its release.
