Gotta love that thing.
Gotta love that thing.
I saw this image on the front page and thought, "wtf?" Then I started gasping in excitement when I realized it was Life of Pi! It's one of the few books I've actually enjoyed reading.
Did you at least pick up something from the Steam sales? I would hope you did since you now have a gaming capable PC.
Haha! Had to laugh at VVVVV! So simple, yet so hilarious.
"There are no Steam codes." You just lost a sale there.
It's a Source mod. It has to be free.
That's just a menu image for now, much like many other mods that never take off. :/
I totally saw this coming. I can't say I feel sorry for Zynga either.
I never said I would make the switch right away (I might make my PC dual boot). I would make the switch completely IF, Linux becomes the top supported OS. I don't see that happening in the near future, but I think it's entirely possible.
That would be great! Especially if it were a completely hand-drawn 2D art style much like Rayman Origins.
I assumed it was Zork, but that is pretty much the only text adventure I actually know about, lol.
I agree that the difficulty can be very unforgiving. It's unfortunate that you really have to grind the first two heists before getting good enough upgrades to survive the later ones. That said, I haven't played the game much before, but I was at level 35 and played the heist on normal both offline and online, and…
Yeah, I don't like it. I actually love the art style Nintendo chose when they translated Mario into the 3D space. They just need more polygons, higher res textures, and nicer lighting and particle effects to keep making them look better. Super Mario Galaxy looked amazing aesthetically.
A text adventure. I'm not really sure if you're referencing something specific though, considering I've never played one, so it's too obscure for me to understand I suppose.
I don't really think they were trying to undercut Microsoft. Whenever they put out significant DLC for their games, you can expect a big sale. When the Portal 2 DLC came out, I believe it went down to 5 bucks too. They can't control the sale price of their DLC on the Xbox unfortunately.
Yep, I played it. Great fun!
I would guess at least $800, and that's most likely cutting it really close.
Apparently the creators of 9 are making a feature length film with the Source engine. This was leaked a while back, but I assume they are using SFM. The animation looks pretty amateurish though, but I suspect it's not final.
Of course it's not going to happen overnight, but Valve is making the right push towards the right direction. If more devs support Linux, it might be the most viable gaming OS after a few years. I still plan on using Windows 7 as long as I have to.
You know, I'm glad Microsoft is screwing up Windows 8. If PC gaming is going to completely shift to Linux/ Ubuntu, I will gladly make the shift as well. I am not a fan of Microsoft at all, and I will be glad to stop supporting them if all goes well with Linux becoming a much more viable OS for gaming.
