That actually does sort of help. If I contribute to the purchases of Rayman Origins, it might just show Ubi that PC games sell well when you don't restrict them with silly DRM.

That sort of honesty would help sales, and they obviously don't want that.

Exactly. If Steam didn't have all it's amazing features and great sales, I wouldn't enjoy PC gaming nearly as much as I do today.

And they wonder why people pirate their games. I, however, won't even give them that sort of honor for their games. I don't want anything to do with Ubisoft until they clean up their act on the PC front. Sadly, this includes not buying Rayman Origins once it's out on PC. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

Shank is actually very short and enjoyable. You can get through it in just one playthrough.

Some people are bad at following directions and wouldn't know which folders to drop the files in. This way, all they have to do is download through Steam, and it does all the work for them. I also doubt that Steam would be required and I hope it isn't in case modders create something with copyrighted content that

I was semi-interested in it until I realized it's published by Activision. I doubt we'll ever see this go on any big sales like some other big name games. Plus, I've vowed to not buy any Activision games until they clean up their business tactics.

You'd have to buy at least one game that runs on the Source engine. Anything from CS:S all the way to L4D(2) or Portal 2.

Count me in. I might as well play a little HL2 this weekend.

I believe that ever since TF2 became free, they made it so that anyone could play any form of an HL2 mod. The only thing you would need to BUY a game for is the SDK.

I understand what you mean. Then again, some of us actually play games on the computer. But I still call them videogames.

I'm a PC gamer, so I'm not comfortable with one company (especially not Microsoft) having total control over gaming hardware.

I hope there's plans of releasing this on PC soon. Indie games have been doing great on PC lately thanks to them not being segregated from the bigger games on Steam. Also, I love indie games!

Good to know. I've been wanting to know if it was similar on the console side.

I'm very content now to make my purchases mostly with Steam and Amazon now. When it comes to Steam though, if I can activate the game on Steam and get it cheaper somewhere else, then I'll go with the alternative.

I was definitely impressed by that title sequence. However, I didn't really enjoy the other cut scenes in the game. The transition was just too dramatic. I would think that it's because I'm playing on PC and my game looks really sharp, while the cut-scenes are running at 720p and look really blurry in comparison. I'm

Nope, you were able to get one delivered for a limited time.

When they screwed up the box art for Okami on the Wii, they sent out free extra covers to replace it. I'm guessing they'll do the same here, considering that it's another Capcom screw up.
