Yes, controllers are implemented much more now. However, most of them require an Xbox 360 controller, so you better make sure you have one of those first. Personally, I play FPSs with my keyboard and mouse, and third-person games and racing games with a controller.

Yeah, I love WKTT along with the Lazlow Show.

No. Only extra copies that you may own.

Lol. Someone's got the right idea.

I give a big crap about Dirt 3...

Both words are correct. "Peaked" is correct, because his interest has reached it's "peak," as in it's highest point.

That's exactly what I thought.

I love reading about indie dev success stories. It shows that the industry is very open to new ideas, and that you don't have to work for a big company in the U.S. to do what you dream to do.

I don't think you need a publisher for Steam, but I think you do for XBLA. I could be wrong though.

I actually do have all my games installed at once. But no, I don't trust them to be able to let me keep all my games. I just have to trust that they don't go under. It's definitely a risk, but one I'm willing to take.

XD I have a similar beef for people that preorder games just because of advertisements without dedicating any research into their purchases. That's why so many people buy CoD instead of the more obscure titles that are praised by the community.

I had asked him on his original speakup post. He said that it was cheaper for him to order from Target, and he didn't have to wait for Amazon to ship.

Valve said they have a way to remove the Steam DRM if they ever do go under. I can't find a good source right now, but I've read this quite a few times.

I'm pretty sure that Valve will support the PS3 with cross-platform play from now on. I also hope that other companies follow suit. I like the PC community, but it would be nice to be able to expand it.

Ah, the Make Something Unreal contest. I'm glad Tripwire won a while back when they made the original Red Orchestra. This game however, doesn't excite me much. It seems to only be able to display one color at a time (like a lot of Unreal Engine games).

Morbidly Obese Online Battle Arena?

Mods are a great way to extend the life of a game by adding more content. It really is up to the dev to support it, but it's always a great incentive to buy the game right away. Half-Life wouldn't have sold as well without the original Counter-Strike mod for example.

You can get Steam to launch any program (even Firefox). I launched Minecraft through Steam, so my friends could see that I'm playing Minecraft, and so I can use the Steam overlay to take screenshots such as this: [steamcommunity.com] . Plus, you can always still launch the game without Steam.

The next update is said to add a challenge mode, and of course more maps. Or you could try out some difficult community made maps.

Just goes to show you who Valve's true fans are. Also, the reason why L4D sold better on consoles is because it has a much more mainstream appeal with it's extreme violence and zombie motif.
