Now where have I seen this before...

Hey offer me a V6 Charger with a new car warranty for under 20K, and I'll buy it. At that price it fits the definition of "good enough"

Bit of background. My town used to have 4 car dealerships. Ford, GM, Chrysler and a pretty big used lot. The Ford one closed in the mid 2000s, the used lot closed because of shady business. That left 2. The GM dealership of 100 years next town over also closed. You would think that would make it easy for the two left

While a fair number of those complaints are valid, which of the two is a better option:

And they more or less killed the Chrysler brand. They literally have just two minivans for sale, the Pacifica and the Voyager though they claim that the regular Pacifica and the plug-in hybrid are different vehicles.

So what you’re saying is, 57% of Dodge sales came from only 2 models....

TLDR: We dealers are paying A LOT MORE money for poorly engineered vehicles that we make A LOT LESS money on. They got rid of cars our customers want and are charging way too much for cars our customers dont want, and it’s the dealers problem to retain these now pissed-off customers.

It’s funny how the dealers that I trust the least are Dodge/Ram/Jeep dealers. I swear that the car dealership in Fargo was based on a Dodge/Ram/Jeep dealer.

Eh. So they cancelled a bunch of models in 2023 and some of the sales carried over to 2024. This feels like a natural consequence of all the “Stellantis dealer inventory is 2x national average” articles we were reading over the summer.

Where was that one 2016 Dodge Dart hiding all this time?

Except it’s not. Congestion pricing funds public transit, which ultimately benefits the not-rich-assholes more than anyone. Additionally, those that choose to walk or bike also benefit from reduced cars clogging every damn intersection in Manhattan. Most beneficial would be bus rides, generally used by the lowest

3rd Gear : American want excess opulence tough luxurious commanding large Truck or SUV for a cheap car price, there I fixed it for you

First Gear: Large, impressive-looking percentage changes can result when the denominator is miniscule. Selling 1500 cars instead of 500 cheap EVs isn’t exactly going to save the company. Going from 100,000 to 300,000 is still a similar percentage change, but very different change in overall revenue.

4th Gear: I’m all for congestion pricing, but they shouldn’t be charging motorcycles. Additionally, this is going to fuck the FDR and west side highways. Excluding them from the fee structure will push traffic to them, and they are already a mess. The whole point was that you could cut through town faster, and now

President Musk is a fucking POS.

It’ll be funny when Musk gets an office in the WH while Vance is stuck in the official VP office next door.

Well I don’t know about other people’s Carvana experience, but mine we pretty good. I bought a 2020 Ioniq Electric from them last year and it’s been great. There was an issue with the first one I got because it had more damage than they reported, but thanks to their return policy and a another available for the same

Sorry, Donnie - he’s younger than you, he’s far, far richer than you, his pet social platform is a lot bigger and more influential than yours, he’s never lost an election, and depending on how his surgery went, he has less of a ‘problem in that department’ than you. He’s going to have the alpha energy in every meeting.

Trump might be POTUS, but Elon is his Daddy.

I’m sure Elon’s cottage has a nice chair by the door Donny from Queens can sit in when the Trumps come over
