I didn’t figure I would be furloughed but here I am (I’m in IT). Since the gym that I work for is closed and can’t get in anywhere to exercise, I’ve been running with a friend and doing 7 miles every other day. I’ve beaten Doom and Doom Eternal. Helped out other people in a car group I’m in. And worked on socializing

Some restaurants in my area are selling food supplies like a grocery store. A few food distributors for restaurants are switching over to delivering groceries to homes now.

I have not but I’ve been helping someone on a Dodge Magnum owners forum to get things done on his car. I’m uploading a photo of my car to the left and that’s him standing next to my car (mine is the hemi).

I was at Kadena in the early 80's (Navy brat). My father was a Commander or maybe a Lieutenant Commander back then (he's a physician). I loved the Habu! I remember the plane shaking buildings. Do you remember the pizzeria that was right next to the runway? I have so many fond memories of living there.

That's what my current employer is doing. I'm furloughed but my health insurance is paid through June. The crappy part is they cashed in my PTO (which was two weeks) so now I won't be able to see my parents (it's going to be two years now) in Spain once this all calma down. :/

I’m putting myself out here and hopefully get a laugh. My beard was growing crazy and I can’t get it trimmed like I want to so...

That's weird, I don't know if those are mom and pop shops because I work for L.A. Fitness and we've been shut down. For a while. Last Tuesday was when I could actually go inside the gyms to work. Now we're fully shut down.

Sounds like your wife scored an amazing husband. You two are lucky to have each other.

Is it bad that I would feel leery about getting a ventilator from Ford’s Chicago assembly plant if they used them?

This is almost like reading the same issues that affected the early LX platforms with Hemi V8's.

Piss off peasant, I have a bidet that not only cleans your butthole with warm water, it also dries it!

I can't wait to see these on the road with the headlight covers to make them look angry and a "Jeep Recovery Vehicle" sticker on the back.

My 03 ZX-5 is still puttering around, my nephew drives it now. Mine has over 200k and besides the tranny issues, it's been fairly reliable.

That’s awesome! Thank you so much for sharing.

I mean, they did build RR’s in the U.S. starting in 1921 and ending in 1931. Bentley could do similar...

Are you talking about the Transits or Transit Connects? The TC's had the same tranny as my first gen Focus and it was absolute junk, it went through three before it found one that it didn't kill.

First Gear: Not entirely related but it's nice to see Ash has a job with Geely. He used to run China Car Times, really nice dude. He finally got a job in the industry he wanted.

First Gear: HSV will be converting LHD imports to RHD. Also, you forgot the G8. One thing that was never covered was that GM pulled out of South Africa a while ago and sold their operations to Isuzu.
