Well, that was a bummer. I’m a huge Rossi fan, and perhaps Marquez really did hold back against Lorenzo, who knows. But it was Vale’s moment of stupidity at Sepang that ultimately did him in. Oh well, great season by Rossi at 36 years old.

Anything can happen! Rossi crashed out in ‘06 to give Hayden the title. Lorenzo, though I don’t think he’s recorded any DNFs this year and I’m too lazy to look it up, has been known to go through some crashy periods. Like Rossi said, the first few laps will determine everything. His FP3 time was great, so he has the…
Solution: Don’t ride a liter bike for your daily commute. This is a performance bike clearly meant for track usage.
I like Sturgill a lot, but he honestly writes about and takes too many drugs for him to be considered the next wave of country music, regardless of how much coke Cash, Waylon or Hank did. “Country” people love beer and liquor, not psychedelic drugs.
Hot Take: Fuck Marquez and his childish ways, he consistently crashed his way out of the Championship race. But disappointed to see The Doctor let it get to him like that, especially as he’s the master of mind games over other racers.
“and the valves are now titanium for weight reduction.”
The irony is that Dave Matthews is technically more African than Greg, since he was born in Johannesburg.
That’s the point I’m trying to make. And look, I get it. As in any industry, there’s brand value and equity that equates to customer $$$. And is this nicer than a $250 AGV? Yes. Is it $700+ nicer? That’s debatable, like you said.
Never said HJC/Icon/whatever is on the same level of Shoei, but there’s a level of diminishing returns/value, yeah? Oh well, to each their own.
I always hear the whole mantra, “How much do you value your brain?” But all I see is an overpriced helmet that’s charging for the SHOEI name.
Carrie Underwood says yes.
Ford has all the good concepts. I love the Rambo.
I think Austin, TX, for a number of reasons.
Maybe I’m in the minority, but I don’t like the Street Fighter look unless that was the original design concept, mostly because there are too many good bikes ruined by assholes on Craigslist who’ve laid their bike down, take the fairings off and call it a street fighter.
American Chopper was actually legit in the first couple of seasons. Less drama, more interesting builds, actually showing some fabrication. Then it all went downhill.
I recently bought an Icon Airmada Salient...and I love it. Fits great, tons of venting without the wind noise. All for under $200. Hate their “bro style” jackets, love their helmets.
Multiple easy-ish repairs completed - starter replacements, alternator swaps, brake jobs (rotors an new pads), radiator replacement, fuel pump replacement, valve cover gasket job (of course on an e46), axle(s) fluid swap...
Vote for Donnelly!
I guess my main question is...why? What’s the consumer market like for a 1,200cc bike made by a low-volume manufacturer? Why not a 599/600?
He has a lot of really shitty Vipers, though. A Spider-Man themed one, a Darth Vader one...http://www.wsj.com/articles/dodge…
