That's not how I interpreted it. I thought it was about how wrong it is to try children as adults, but maybe that's just my naivety. That's definitely possible, and if that's how s/he meant it then obviously I don't agree.

You're right, that definitely doesn't make sense. Even less when they don't try rapists and the like as adults (not saying rape is as bad as murder, but it's probably in the top 5 of worst crimes so). This whole thing is just so damn confusing.
