If I’m going to have a car with a big screen as my dashboard, I’d hope that I could download cool themes for it. A little like browser themes or something like that.

Cost and payload.  Having all those extra batteries will reduce what the trailer can haul.  There would also be some pretty challenging dynamics involved with the trailer pushing the truck too. 

Because that would turn a $5,000 trailer into a $50,000 trailer while also halving the payload it could carry.

Diesel* Electric. That first part is key. Also, fixed routes make it very easy to have the needed fuel (Diesel) available along pre-planned stops.

Compared to all other CUVs of the time, it was the best driving.

Just for the record.... THIS is the direction the industry should be headed.
