Regarding #2: Unless I’m mistaken, all of the characters in the King of Fighters games are engaging in a tournament of consensual violence, where all of the participants know what they’re getting into, what sort of danger is involved, what the rules are, and what compensation and treatment plans are present.

A friendly reminder: In the early 90s there were honest to God Senate hearings about how video games need to be regulated led by Democrats. Just two years ago our President was encouraging regulation of violent video games. That same President’s petty trade war was set to cause the cost of our hobby to skyrocket.

Should name it FF7R Disc 2, but that’d probably be confusing marketing wise.

I’m of the opinion that they should give each installment a different subtitle. Remake really fit for the context of this particular game and I think it’d be cool if they named one of the other installments Final Fantasy VII Reunion.
