I recommend the first one wholeheartedly.  I got to where I unlocked Deadpool and just played it as deadpool the game years before a deadpool game existed.  It still holds up.

I remember at Evo it was a bit offputting, not because of dude on dude kissing which is fine, but because every other game they were super strict about nobody coming on stage, friend, boyfriend or so-on because of anti coaching rules. Though in that case I chalked it up to being a side tournament.
