For added clarity an il or happ stick have round gates, you cannot feel the gate at all. You really need to know your inputs.

The joystick is a little stiffer and the gate is round so you can’t ride the gate for inputs. The buttons go down a little further and have a more satisfying click. The concave (bent inward style) conforms to your fingers a bit making it more comfortable.
