Hey, I liked the Casual Vacancy. A lot. I didn't read it obsessively like I did with the Harry Potter books, but it was a hell of a lot better than most contemporary adult fiction.

I liked The Casual Vacancy and The Cuckoo's Calling. The adult characters were always the strongest, most complex parts of the Potter books, and I'm glad her (I think) well-written character's vices and problems can grow beyond the kiddie and YA worlds now that I'm an adult.
