I don’t really see many videogames in which the serial killer is who the Origami Killer was, nor do I see many videogames in which there’s a FBI agent addicted to virtual reality drugs.

Well, would you look at that? He did something wrong and asshole-y, but because he actually took responsibility for his actions and apologized, I don’t feel he’s a bad person and I feel like forgiving him. If only more people did like him.

I like his stories. It doesn’t matter that they’re full of plot holes: they’re compelling and have me interested, which is something a lot of actual movies with coherent plots cannot do.
