Glad we aren't painting with a broad brush!

That's rough. It really gets on my nerves. I know it shouldn't since it's not my business, but it seems so needy. :/

Man, I wish my grandpa/grandma would write a letter like this to my mom. My brother has been having a lot of problems with drugs and disobedience lately, and it has come to fruition that he is bi-sexual and my mother has been treating him poorly about it. It hurts me to know that my brother is acting out because he

Yes! I follow friends on Pinterest who don't even have boyfriends/S.Os and they have MULTIPLE wedding boards! It is insane! I was so turned off to Pinterest because of that, but I found some cool people who post awesome social justice stuff, cosplays, and general important things, so the crazy wedding stuff is less

Dare I say, you were Baberaham Lincoln??

YUS, GENDER-SWAP FOREVER! I was lady Captain America last year for Halloween and it was awesome! These are excellent.

You. I like you.

You. I like you.

Let us be friends so I can eat your discarded deliciousness. I hate onions, too, so you're on your own on that one.

I have actualfax never watched a show and been like "I MUST OWN THESE CLOTHES!" Personally, I am too engrossed in other things that are happening. The one instance I saw something on TV that I HAD to own was the episode of "Glee" where Will proposed to Emma and they had those really awesome sailor swimsuits from

GIVE ME YOUR DISCARDED AVOCADO, PLEASE!

Right? Like, they could be doing so much more with their lives!! I'm sure parenting is rewarding and awesome but SCIENCE! Bill Nye is disappoint.

I really want Feminist Bookstore to be a show. Like, just a whole show. It is so funny and on-point every time I watch it.

Both of them worked pretty demanding lab/research type jobs for pretty prominent companies, and both of their spouses do work that could have easily been done from home, and it just seems like a case of gender roles taking over practicality. Like I said, both these women were making six figures a year and their

Agreed. One of the reasons I will probably not have children.

They were! They are not planning on, as far as I know. One of them is doing *very* part-time work at the local Y while her kids are in daycare over there, but who knows? The other is very content with housewife stuff. She blogs about it (privately, because she hates me and my feminism, but that's another story) and is

psssh, you stop that! My boyfriend has TWO sisters who were both scientists, one did cancer research and the other did some crazy thing involving weighing atoms and they both made more than their husbands by A LOT and they decided to become stay-at-home-moms. What a waste of their talents and education. Sorry if that

Doc McStuffins is awesome. Good choice!

Thank you so much :D

What you are talking about sounds an awful lot like choice feminism, which I think can be problematic. Just because a woman makes a choice to do something, does not mean that choice is automatically a feminist one. You make it seem like I am looking at her appearance and judging her on that. False, I am looking at
