To live on food stamps and not be hungry usually means that you will definitely be fat. You can get WIC cheese and butter and dairy. You can buy cheap (fatty) meat. You can buy cheap, sugar-filled generic cereals. There's no way you can live on the produce-foundation food pyramid using food stamps, not on the amount

It was so awful that I can't even let it go, the awfulness. I mean, Bugs was awful. Swap Meat was awful. Season 7 Time for a Wedding was awful and a travesty, to boot, but this? This was unforgivably derivative and predictable AND BORING. The predictable ending tag wasn't worth the crapfest that I sat through to get

I was actually going to mention AD's performance of the evolution of Wesley in my response but didn't want to muddy myself any further than I already had. There's no argument, really, because damn. They were great. Faith, anyone?

Thank you for the clarification. Do you not think Sarah Michelle Gellar did a kick-ass, genre-redefining job of "the little blonde girl?" Or was Alyson Hannigan better at doing a kick-ass performance from the lousy writing of her character during most of Season 6, and her recovery from being written as a magic

For crying out loud. BUFFY. "Into every generation a slayer is born: one girl in all the world, a chosen one. She alone will wield the strength and skill to fight the vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their number. She is the Slayer." You say "crazy cat lady" like it's a bad thing.

I went through my Mom period—relaxed-fit jeans, frizzy hair, lack of sleep and all. Now I'm post-menopausal and look pretty damned fuckable. Go figure. I guess it's the waist-length, silver-streaked witchy hair and no kids at home. And I still feel sexy, so there's that. The Mom Thing is temporary.

Just because she's married and busy taking sexy pictures in pubic places... "

If I hear that specific "hammer clank clank clank" sound that I first heard when Neo was walking into the building to rescue Morpheus FIFTEEN YEARS AGO, the movie is going to suck. Same thing if they use Carmina Burana.

I'll never eat a Turducken Slammer EVER AGAIN.

I was unimpressed until A Human Reaction, and after that you couldn't tear me away. I watched the entire series and Peacekeeper Wars over a one-month period back in 2005. I still watch it. Crackers Don't Matter! And in S4, Unrealized Reality.

In New Orleans, it's a "soft drink." Or was, anyway, when I lived there. Back in the Dark Ages. When they were all in glass bottles and made with cane sugar.

Naomi Novik's Temeraire series.

She was hard to love in S6, but I loved her anyway. Still do.

God. No kidding. This layout is giving me a headache. Maybe it's the weather.
