You would think the newer revisions would not have overheat issues due to smaller silicone die sizes. Plus they have had forever to fix this problem.

@Tim Gee: If the camera is shooting at a higher FPS to do HDR then it is rated for I would sure hope it passes those files to user. I do not see how processing hdr in camera could ever be better then post processing as long as the user has access to the original shots the camera used to process the HDR.

Post processing multiple exposures with software will always be better. The camera will have to take multiple pictures to do this and there is no way it will have the capability of photomatix.
