I couldn’t even begin to explain to my parents why TV would be region protected on streaming services, let alone explain what is a VPN. That’s why I keep torrenting the shows they like for them.
The saddest thing is, the 2D remake for the PSP (Final Fantasy IV - The Complete Collection) looks a lot better than this. I’d buy that version on Steam.
Everytime someone mentions this game, someone comments “but it’s excellent after 100 hours!” and it just makes me depressed.
Agree, there’s no shame in leaving that game at 40% completion. I only go for 100% in games that I care about and that don’t have unreasonable requirements for achievements.
Another suggestion: go after achievements / trophies. So many people criticize them, but it’s entirely optional and they add a lot of replay value to some games.

Do they really? I'm asking because FF I and II have been glitchy since the release of iOS 8 and the games have serious slowdowns and don't run in fullscreen on my iphone 5s. I was wondereing if they'd ever bother fixing that.

Exactly. I'm not willing to pay 100 dollars for a game if the developer think it's worth that much. Heck, I've stopped paying 60 dollars for games around 3 years ago (thanks to Steam sales and my huge backlog).
Well, it's not a rumor, this was announced together with the games. XIII, XV and Type-0 (Versus XIII and Agito, at the time) share the same mythos, but they don't take place in the same planet or universe. XIII and XV will be as alike as XIII and Type-0, so not really similar at all. So no Lightning cameos. Read more…
They're pulling all the right moves and I still don't know what to think. I remember how insane the hype for XIII was and it all crashed and burned after the demo. I hope this goes well.
Yes, pretty much everyone who's watching knows this by now. But it's still not good for the story, so you could say it was also a flaw in the manga (which I've read and enjoyed).
